EGO Arts creates exceptional inclusive theatre, made in Coventry and enjoyed around the UK – for over 20 years.
Anyone can join our artistic community as a actor, production artist or musician, and we run 10 workshops a week in Coventry City Centre. We exist to eradicate social exclusion and support each other to live enriched creative lives.
Our flagship programme is the EGO Creative Academy – a training ground for learning disabled and/or neurodivergent actors and production artists.
We’ll work with you to create original, eclectic, radical work.
Our core staff team bring with them a multitude of skills, expertise and experience which means our organisational development and our creative offer remains relevant, resilient and exceptional.
EGO is governed by a gifted and accomplished Board of Trustees who safeguard the charity ensuring that it is solvent, well-run, and delivering its charitable outcomes.
We regularly work with freelance associates with specialist skills — such as choreography, film, circus, videography, costume, lighting design, stage combat, BSL interpretation and audio description.
