One October evening in 1548, Coventry man Whitfield Saunders prepares to take on the mantle of Lord Mayor. As preparations for the lavish festivities spiral out of control, and a band of minstrels mock his every move, he scrambles to salvage the city’s coffers from financial ruin. But when the nation’s greatest powers converge on Coventry in the pursuit of lost treasure, Whitfield’s big day may become his last. This October, Coventry’s EGO Arts brings you Unholy Trinity, a raucous Tudor tale 476 years in the making. GOOD TO KNOW Please arrive at the entrance of St Mary's Guildhall on Bayley Ln between 7pm and 7.50pm.When you arrive, our hosts will guide you to Tales of Tea, the tearoom inside St Mary's Guildhall, where refreshments will be available from the bar.
